Players may then play a kept event (or activate the Rocinante events, if they control it). The player who triggered the scoring round secretly selects one of the sectors as the bonus sector, which provides more points for influence there. Selecting a Score card from the event track triggers a scoring phase. If a player chooses this option, the other players can then use the card for its printed action, depending on their faction (see above) and initiative order.

These events add, remove and shift influence, fleets and cards around the board. Action cards have specific factions printed on them, and only they can select the event. The player then performs the action on the card or takes it into their hand for later use.
